LARRY YES (larryyes.com) had an Art Exhibit at Purple Door gallery from May 2 through June 8, 2025. At the gallery, there were music videos from his latest album: “Everyone on This Planet Is Family.” You can look for them on YouTube: type in “Larry Yes.”
We had a group reading of Song of Myself on Walt’s birthday, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Taborspace. Martha Ragland, John Paisley, Bill Faricy, Mary Sepulveda, Sam Muller, Dan Webb, Nancy Scharbach, Ken Margolis, Brent Gregston, Charles Erickson & Andy Larkin helped to celebrate. There was a birthday cake!
The Open Road published a monthly Meditation & Mindfulness Dialogue from September of 2020 through June of 2024. It was mailed to men in prison and emailed to people “on the outside.” There is a complete archive of this journal at: Meditation & Mindfulness Dialogue Archive. A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Prison, is a documentary by Bushra Azzouz. The Open Road was fiscal sponsor of the film from April of 2020 to June of 2024. On June 26th, 2022 our guest for Bibliophiles was Susan Griffin. She talked about her current project, a biography of Phoebe Hearst. She read from her newest book, Out of Silence, Sound. Out of Nothing, Something.: A Writer’s Guide. The book was published by Counterpoint on January 17, 2023. It’s great! Get a copy!
