I’m an actor, director, author (as of March of 2024), and hippie. Hippies are enjoined to “Do Your Thing.” My Thing (or one of my things) is gathering people together in quest of memorable shared experiences of one kind or another. Hence, The Open Road, which was founded in September of 2019.
Prior to that, I was Executive Director of Open Hearts Open Minds (openheartsopenminds.net) for 13 years. I gathered people together in prisons for meaning-of-life dialogues, and directed a number of plays at Two Rivers prison in Umatilla, Oregon.
