I began playing cello at the age of 7, and it has been my good fortune to play every day since then.
I have performed all over the world and taught music at Portland State University since 1977.
I am a founding member of the Florestan Trio, along with Carol Sindell and Janet Guggenheim.
Recently, I’ve enjoyed bringing my PSU student string ensembles into Oregon prisons and performing there along with them.
