The Open Road: a learning community

I grew up in a small village near Madurai in the South Indian State of Tamil Nadu. I consider myself lucky for the rich and vibrant childhood that my village nurtured through it’s numerous myths, rituals and traditions. I cherish my roots but at the same time my curiosity has helped me to expand my self much farther. Russian novelists, German philosophers, American naturalists have all influenced and shaped me as much as my Indian culture. I aspire to write fiction.
